frederickStafford currently serves as Senior Pastor at Summerdean Church of the Brethren near Roanoke, VA. He became known as a dynamic speaker from his 2014 address to Annual Conference. He was born on the tropical island of Trinidad and came to the U.S. in 1973. Stafford completed studies at Nazarene Training College, Eastern Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary. Stafford has a lot of likes and dislikes, but he does not like Christians who bash other Christians.

We’ll be showing Beaver Creek style hospitality for Stafford’s visit. Saturday evening a meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. Then on Sunday evening there will also be a carry-in meal: bring a dish and join us at 5:30 p.m. Monday a reception with light refreshments will follow worship. One final note: Stafford has asked his congregation and ours to be in prayer for this special series of services. Plan to be in prayer, to attend, and to bring a friend!
