The weekend of November 15-17 is set to be a big one for Beaver Creek Church, including our annual volunteer weekend and installation of Pastor Ryan Cooper. The installation service will be held in morning worship on November 17, following our annual service weekend. It all starts on the night of Friday, November 15 at 6 p.m. with a hot dog roast, campfire and evening vespers in song. The field behind the picnic shelter will be available for those who want to camp out overnight. That night, the youth will be shopping for our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. (Update: With cold weather predicted, we will use discretion on which activities to have outside. We recommend cold weather gear for any planning to camp out.)
On Saturday morning, all participants will meet for an 8 a.m. breakfast and then work together on service projects arranged by the Outreach and Missions Focus Team. There will be lunch at 12:30 p.m. Saturday for everyone that has helped. Then on Sunday we’ll have reflection time and prayers for those we serve together with the installation and welcome of Pastor Ryan and his family.
